General Election 2019 / Robert Smith
The Brexit Party
I’m a fisherman from South Ronaldsay, Orkney – running my own boat since 1994.
I’m delighted to be The Brexit Party candidate for Orkney & Shetland in the most important election in the modern era. At stake is your ability to elect your lawmakers, a right won by a thousand years of struggle and a right which many politicians would happily take away.
In an independent UK, your vote is twenty eight times more powerful than when part of the EU.
A vote for the Brexit Party is a vote for you!
We want to have enough MPs to ensure the government get Brexit done properly.
We will
- Ensure a clean break Brexit based on a free trade deal (not a new EU treaty of remain) saving at least £39 billion. (more than the UK defence annual budget).
- Take back full control of our fishing grounds, our laws, our borders and our money.
- Work with farmers to ensure they successfully transition from the CAP to future prosperity.
- Update NHS management, eliminate waste and focus on delivering world class healthcare, free at the point of use, paid for by general taxation.
- Enact a sensible energy policy based on low cost, reliable generation that could halve our bills.
