Election letters 2019 / Shetland’s interests best served by an independent MSP
Over the last few weeks I’ve watched the SNP blame the Lib Dems for all of Shetlands real transport issues despite them being in government since 2007.
I’ve watched the SNP claim to be environmentally friendly despite them wanting to pollute our landscape with un-environmentally friendly wind farms and pollute our streets with single use plastics (no-one will convince me they will be re-used). I’ve watched the SNP engage in childish tit-for-tat with the Lib Dems.
I’ve also watched the Lib Dems offer nothing to the Shetland electorate other than ‘keep da SNP oot, vote fir wis’.
How many trees were destroyed creating the leaflets which come through my door every second day saying the same things?
I’ve never been more convinced an independent MSP representing us at Holyrood and looking out for the best interests of Shetland is the only logical outcome, and the best outcome for Shetland in this by-election.
