Post: Groundskeeper / Maintenance Assistant
Location: Based at SRT WORKSHOP, GREMISTA, LERWICK – ALL SRT PROPERTIES
Salary: £28,582 – £29,371 per annum inclusive of Island Allowance.
Hours of work: Full-Time Post – 37 hours per week.

Overall Purpose of the Job

To undertake the general maintenance of grounds and outdoor areas of all properties owned and managed by the Shetland Recreational Trust. This will include grass cutting, painting, maintaining car parks, drainage, entrances, paving and general assistance to other SRT Maintenance Staff.

The successful applicant will also be employed to assist the existing trade staff and to undertake semi-skilled maintenance works throughout all SRT facilities, especially during off-season periods. This post will also require an earlier start one day per week to meet the needs of the service.
