Kitchen Assistant
Busta House Hotel
A position has arisen for a full-time Kitchen Assistant.
Starting wage £12 per hour
13:00 – 21:00ish 5 days per week
Duties include:
- Heavy cleaning of the whole kitchen (fryers, cookers, ovens, behind cookers, fridges), 13:00 – 16:00
- Then dinner service 5 days per week, 16:30 – 20:30ish
- Plating Starters, Sweets, Sides for Main courses
- Cleaning down surfaces after service
- Sometimes making sandwiches for packed lunches
- Doing some of the night dishes or sweeping/mopping to help with night KP
- 50-100 covers working with head and sous chef
Any applicants should be strongly motivated with a real interest in food. Some experience is preferred however training in all aspects of the work will be given.
Free staff meals will be provided when on shift as well as discounts when coming in to dine.
