Court / Man charged with attempted murder remanded in custody

A 31-year old man from Leicester has been remanded in custody after appearing in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Friday facing a total of four charges including abduction and one of assault to severe injury, danger to life and attempted murder.

Appearing from custody, Rhys Chan made no plea and was committed for further examination.

He will appear again at court within the next eight days.
