Letters / You can hide, but you can’t run
Regarding your recent piece reporting Hjaltland Housing Association’s achievement award.
What is it they know, do, understand that SIC Housing doesn’t?
I wonder if any group of houses had the local amenity issues Water Lane has, would Hjaltland prevaricate, hide, dismiss in the way the SIC has?
The new year will bring a new dawn for our neighbourhood. You can hide, but you can’t run, because you’d trip over all the broken paving stones, kerbs and huge gouges in the road and car parks.
If anyone is thinking of standing for Lerwick South in May. Get ready!
