  • System Use: Be comfortable using a computer and stocking systems for data entry, barcoding, and updating stock records.
  • Customer Service: Assist customers collecting orders from our trade counter, providing a helpful and knowledgeable service.
  • Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading goods onto courier vehicles and unloading supplier deliveries, using appropriate handling techniques.
  • Warehouse Organisation: Keep workspaces tidy and ensure products are stored safely and logically for efficient retrieval.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all company health and safety policies, wear PPE where required, and help maintain a safe working environment.
  • Team Support: Work closely with other team members to meet daily targets and contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
  • Deliveries: Help with the preparation and organisation of outgoing deliveries; in some cases, assist drivers with loading or even delivering goods to customers (if required).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous warehouse or stores experience preferred (but not essential – training provided)
  • Comfortable using a computer and stocking systems for data entry, barcoding, and stock updates
  • A team player with a good attitude and strong work ethic
  • Confident communicating with customers at the trade counter
  • Able to work on your feet and lift/carry items when required
  • Good attention to detail and time management
  • Forklift licence (desirable, but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence is required
