Finance Officer
35 hours per week; would consider flexible working hours.
Michael Pottinger Engineering Limited is a well-established engineering company providing marine sales and service to clients in marine and aquaculture sector
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As the Finance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our business.
Financial Officer responsibilities will include:
- All aspects of financial record keeping.
- Manage and process all accounts payable and receivable.
- Invoice processing.
- VAT and quarterly VAT returns.
- Payroll and wages processing.
Candidate must have:
- Previous experience in finance and administration.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience and proficiency in Sage accounting and payroll software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
