General Operative Dayshift – Cleaner
At Lerwick Processing Facility, Shetland

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dayshift team at our Lerwick Processing Facility. This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Duties focus on the cleaning activities within the facility in line with our procedures and hygiene standards, ensuring operational integrity. You will be responsible for ensuring that specified areas of the premises are maintained in a clean and tidy condition as required by food safety regulations and SSF Personnel Hygiene Regulations. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring our facility is cleaned to the highest standard.
Cleaner duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning areas out with the factory floor including: toilets, changing rooms, site offices, corridors, box store, canteen, first aid room and site perimeter.
- To ensure the laundry is run smoothly with clean PPE available for the next shift.
- To ensure the canteen is clean and ready for break rotations.
- To carry out tasks in a safe and hygienic manner.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Candidates should be able to work independently and as part of a team that has high standards with a good work ethic and will be required to work shifts on a rotational basis. Full training is provided including health and safety and hygiene.
