Finance Assistant (Career Graded) – Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 28 hours per week) – Permanent Position
Salary on a scale PA13-16 (Grade 5) £32,782 – £36,149 pro rata (including island allowance). In addition to the salary and allowances the Association operates a contributory occupational pension scheme.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dedicated team in supporting the delivery of high-quality housing services across Shetland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good foundation in financial administration who is eager to contribute to a community-focused organisation committed to making a positive impact.

Based in Lerwick you will assist the Director of Finance in maintaining the financial records of the Association. You will be responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger processing including liaison with suppliers, statement reconciliations, petty cash and credit card administration. You will also assist in the maintenance and production of financial information, reports and returns ensuring compliance with Association and Regulatory deadlines.
