DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (part-time)

 

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to help SCDC directors to coordinate and take forward a range of infrastructure and community projects for the benefit of the community; as well as achieve a sustainable future for Scalloway and SCDC.

The position

SCDC is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic part-time Development Manager with a keen interest in community led development and working with the community to join our team.

The successful applicant needs to be able to work flexible hours, averaging between 15-20 hours a week, including some evening and weekend work. The post is shared with one other person who is also engaged for around two and a half days per week

Remuneration will be dependent on experience and hours worked, based on up to £20 per hour if self-employed. The preference is for a self- employed or contract arrangement. The post is available for at least a further year. There may be opportunities to extend this.
