| Job Title: | Collections Manager |
| Overview: | We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced curatorial professional to lead our Collections team at Shetland Museum and Archives. This role is pivotal in overseeing the care, preservation, and development of our collections, which reflect the rich and diverse heritage of Shetland.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering several major projects, including the redevelopment of our permanent galleries, a £100k maritime history initiative, and the relocation of our collections store. This is a busy and rewarding position that would suit a skilled leader with extensive curatorial and management experience, and a passion for Shetland’s cultural heritage. |

| Salary: | £45,000 plus Distant Islands Allowance. (All roles are currently subject to job evaluation and pay review.) |
