Joiner/Foreman for LEF Facilities

Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Rate: £21 – £23.50 per hour dependent on experience
Overtime: Occasional overtime rates available

Job Description:
As a joiner with us, you will be responsible for a variety of joinery tasks, with a primary focus on bathrooms, kitchens, and solar roof work. You will work on your own initiative, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quoting Jobs for customers and liaising with suppliers
- Installation of bathroom fixtures and fittings
- Kitchen installation including cabinetry, countertops, and hardware
- Solar roof installations and related joinery work
- Measuring and cutting materials to the required specifications
- Assembling, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety standards
Requirements:
- SVQ3/SCQF 6 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
- Proven experience in joinery, with a focus on bathrooms, kitchens, and roofing works
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Full valid driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
