Appliance Installation and Delivery Person

A position has arisen for an appliance installation person, delivering and installing electrical goods throughout Shetland.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Delivering goods the length and breadth of Shetland
• Installation of freestanding and built-in large appliances, including washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, ovens, cookers, etc.
• Delivering new kitchen furniture to customers’ homes
• Liaising with customers in their homes, ensuring to provide the best possible service
• Receiving inwards goods of large appliances and kitchens into our stores

WHICH SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Regular heavy lifting of large appliances
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Organisational skills
• Logistics and time management skills
• Full, clean driving licence – preferred
• Forklift licence – preferred

THE ROLE

• 40 hours per week
• Working days are Monday to Friday. Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays
• Pay dependent on experience
• Based at George Robertson Ltd Shop, 3-4 Carlton Place, Lerwick, Shetland, ZE1 0ED
