THE WHALSAY ferry link is down to a single vessel service after the Hendra suffered yet another breakdown late on Monday afternoon.

The single vessel service will commence from the Vidlin terminal at 6.30pm, the council’s ferry service said.

All cars are advised to go in the booked lane.

The Whalsay service was only disrupted last Monday when the Hendra had to be taken out of service.

The latest information can be found the council’s voicebank service on 01595 743973.
