North Road house damaged by car

A HOUSE on Lerwick’s North Road was damaged on Saturday afternoon after a car drove through a fence and into the side of it.

Police attended the one-vehicle crash just before 1pm on Saturday, at a home on the corner of North Road and Gremista Brae.

The driver of the vehicle sustained injuries at the scene and was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital for treatment.
