Two Shetland apprentices join BBC Scotland
TWO OF the three BBC Scotland journalist apprentices for 2026 are from Shetland.
Jonathan Dorrat, from Lerwick, has started work in Inverness, while Jessie Clubb, from Brae, has taken up the role at the Pitt Lane studio in Lerwick.
Editor John Johnston says BBC Radio Shetland is very proud of the start it has given to so many talented journalist and broadcasters down the years like Jen Stout, Jonathan Sutherland and Phil Goodlad.
“The current staff at Pitt Lane are among the youngest in Scotland, with the majority of team are under 30,” said Johnston.
“We’re excited to see how Jessie and Jonathan develop their careers.”
