SSQC Analytical Services undertakes microbiological testing on a wide range of food, water and environmental samples to meet quality assurance and legislative requirements.

Due to an increase in business a vacancy has arisen for a full-time Laboratory Technician to provide support to the microbiology laboratory. Duties include producing culture media, carrying out performance checks, dispensing diluents, calibrating equipment and undertaking environmental monitoring.

This post will involve working as part of a team. A full clean driving licence would be an advantage. Previous experience of working in a laboratory environment would also be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
