SENTENCE has been deferred on a woman who admitted supplying heroin at her house in Lerwick.
Yvonne Duncan, 48, formerly of the town’s South Road, earlier admitted being concerned in the supply of the drug on 8 January.
Bail was continued for Duncan at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday for whom reports will be prepared before her sentencing hearing on 15 January.
DRIVING a car with no insurance or MOT cost a man a total of £400 at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Darren Boxwell, 32, of Tingwall, earlier admitted the offence that took place on 11 September this year between Holmsgarth Road in Lerwick and the Veensgarth junction with the A970.
He also received six penalty points.
A MAN who smashed a newsagent’s window in Lerwick has been fined £200.
Thomas Currie, 27, of Stennestwatt in Walls, committed the offence at JJ Taylor on 1 June this year and later paid for the £150 damage.
Currie, who pleaded guilty by letter, was fined £200 by Sheriff Ian Cruickshank at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
