Man arrested for trespassing in Bressay
A FORTY four year old man has been arrested in connection with trespassing in Bressay earlier this year.
The man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon in connection with the offence, which is said to have occurred on the island between 1 February and 19 May this year.
He has been released on an undertaking to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court at a later date.
Chief inspector Chris Sewell said: “I recognise the ‘right to roam’ in Scotland, however is important that rural communities, landowners and those involved in agriculture are able to go about their lawful business safely and without disruption.”
