The now annual event saw a number of colourful floats, five jarl's squads, Lerwick Pipe Band, coastguard and fire brigade vehicles, as well as two motor cross riders pulling stunts, setting off from the Lower Hillhead for a procession through the town ending at Victoria Pier.

All money raised will go to the fund, which helps young islanders fulfil their dreams in life. The fund was set up by local businessman Malcolm Younger in memory of his son, who sadly passed away from an unknown heart condition in April 2005 at the age of just 10.
