FLOATS and a fire engine, many jarl squads and a monster truck – Shetland’s Midsummer Carnival just about had something for everyone.

The event made its long-awaited comeback this evening (Saturday) having last been held in 2019.

The Covid pandemic and poor weather last year put paid to previous events.

Money raised from the carnival is set to go to the Callum Younger Reach Fund.
