Malakoff has a current vacancy for the following position:

Project Manager

 

Malakoff is a marine engineering firm that undertakes work in the marine, industrial, oil & gas, aquaculture, fishing, and renewables sectors. The company has bases in Shetland and Orkney and undertakes work throughout the North of Scotland.

The company currently has a vacancy for a Project Manager. The position will be based at Malakoff’s Greenhead Base Office, Lerwick.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • Will have relevant experience in the marine / industrial engineering industry.
  • Will have experience in production of RAMS, Work Instructions, ITPs, Project Schedules, etc.
  • Will have experience of managing complex engineering projects.
  • Will ideally have experience of NEC contracting structure (although this is not an essential requirement).
  • Will display a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to get the job done.
  • Will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Will be able to work alongside people of a variety of trades.
  • Will have a full driving licence.

 

The position offers an excellent wage rate commensurate with experience.
