Vónin Scotland Ltd currently have vacancies for Net Repair Personnel.

 

Formerly Morenot Scotland Ltd merged with the Faroes company Vónin to form Vónin Scotland Ltd, with two Aquaculture net service stations based here in Scalloway, and in Scalpay in Harris; also currently building a new service station in Skye due to open in early 2025.

Based in Scalloway, the job will include net repair and new net manufacture. Experience in net repair and ropework would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.

The permanent vacancies are full-time. Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with overtime available. Attactive salary will be paid dependent on experience.

The job does include some lifting and pulling of tangled nets.

Immediate start is available.
