Founded over 150 years ago and locally owned and managed, Malakoff is a long established marine engineering firm that undertakes work in the marine, industrial, oil & gas, aquaculture, fishing, and renewables sector within Shetland and Orkney, as well as throughout the North of Scotland.

The company currently has vacancies for Marine Engineers/Industrial Fitters with work opportunities across all our sites in Shetland, Orkney and beyond for the marine industry.

Suitable candidates will demonstrate the following essential criteria:

  • Will have relevant experience in the marine / industrial engineering industry.
  • Will display a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to get the job done.
  • Will be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Will be able to work alongside people of a variety of trades.

 

In return we will offer an attractive salary, dependent on experience, as well as a pension scheme and occupational health support.

A current driving licence is essential as the role comes with access to a company vehicle.
