A position has arisen for a full-time Commis Chef to assist in our kitchen.

Starting wage £12 per hour.

 

Duties include:

  • Prep/cooking breakfast 5 days per week, 06:00ish – 11:00ish
  • Vegetable & sauce prep
  • Washing vegetables
  • Cleaning up after breakfast and washing breakfast dishes
  • Scrub char-grill
  • Breakfasts cooked to order 30-40 covers
  • Then doing dinner same 5 days per week, 6:30 – 20:30ish
  • Plating Starters, Sweets, Sides for Main courses
  • Cleaning down surfaces after service
  • Sometimes making sandwiches for packed lunches
  • 50-100 covers working with head and/or sous chef

 

Any applicants should be strongly motivated with a real interest in food. Some experience is preferred however training in all aspects of the work will be given.

Free staff meals will be provided when on shift as well as discounts when coming in to dine.
