Convenor Malcolm Bell considers that a 17.5 telecommunications mast would be a ‘monstrosity’ if it was to be erected at Quendale Lane, Lerwick.

Is this the same Malcolm Bell who happily chaired a meeting to rubber stamp a 10 metre increase in height for the massive 103 Viking Energy turbines spread over a large area of the centre of Shetland, but nowhere near Lerwick?

Boy, you really couldna mak it up.
