News / Bigton man found guilty
SENTENCE ON a man from Bigton who was found guilty of four charges including verbally abusing a retired woman and driving while unfit through drink has been deferred until early September.
Following a short trial at Lerwick Sheriff Court which concluded on Tuesday, Martyn Fisher of 4 Hayhoull Place, was also found guilty of behaving aggressively towards neighbours as well as failing to give information to the police.
The offences took place over a six month period between 10 September last year and 14 March at the Viking bus station, in Lerwick, as well as at his home address at Bigton.
Sheriff Philip Mann asked for reports and deferred sentence on the 59 year old until 2 September.
