MIND Your Head’s popular fun run and walk is set to return in 2027 to mark the charity’s 20th anniversary.

The event will return after an eight-year hiatus at Cunningsburgh on Sunday 22 August 2027.

Adding to the celebrations, Mind Your Head says it is planning to have live music after the run, along with stalls, food and drinks and other activities into the evening.

The fun run will be open to anyone who wants to run, jog, cycle or walk either the 5k or 10k route.

Mind Your Head chief executive Anouska Civico said that when they started planning the 20th anniversary they knew they had to bring back the fun run.

“Still to this day, if you mention Mind Your Head to anyone, they generally know us for the fun run as much all the support services we offer,” she said.

“There will be other events in the run-up to the day, and they are still in the planning stages.

“There will be more updates as the months go on so please keep an eye on local media and socials”.

To make the fun run as big an occasion as possible, Mind Your Head are looking for sponsorship from individuals and local businesses who can help either by offering money towards the running costs, volunteering on the day or by offering their skills.

They are also looking for local musicians who would love to be a part of the event.
