The Inkster Christmas Hat, as modelled on the @inksters Twitter account.

LAW firm Inksters run by Shetlander Brian Inkster has been shortlisted for yet another award, this time for its use of social media.

Inksters is the only Scottish law firm to be shortlisted in the Most Innovative Use of Social Media category in the 2015 Managing Partner Forum Awards for Management Excellence.

The recognition is for the company’s use of Twitter, including tweeting pictures of people wearing Inksters Christmas Hats, promoting their new Glasgow headquarters and tweeting during the Edinburgh Festival from an improvised comedy show they sponsored called This Is Your Trial.

As a result of all these efforts, Inksters’ was ranked as the law firm with the most mentions on Twitter in the UK.

Brian Inkster said: Many law firms have yet to embrace social media in the way that we have at Inksters. It is gratifying, and I am delighted, that our social media efforts have been recognised by Managing Partners Forum.”
