Person traced after emergency services called out to Knab
EMERGENCY services attended an incident around the Knab area of Lerwick this morning (Wednesday).
Police, the coastguard search and rescue helicopter and Lerwick Lifeboat were all seen in the area. It is understood that it related to a report of a concern for a person who was traced.
A spokesperson for the coastguard said: “At 7.12am this morning, HM Coastguard was called to assist Police Scotland with an incident at the Knab, Lerwick.
“Coastguard Rescue Teams from Lerwick and Walls were sent, along with an HM Coastguard Search and Rescue Helicopter and Lerwick lifeboat. The incident concluded at around 9.38am.”
