NORTHLINK has confirmed that Thursday’s ferry sailings may face disruption due to the weather.

The northbound passenger ship may only go as far as Kirkwall, with an update on this to follow on Thursday morning.

The southbound sailing will depart Lerwick early at 4pm.

Both of Thursday’s freight sailings have now been cancelled.

NorthLink has also warned that there may be disruption to services through to Sunday.
