Transport / Disruptions to ferry services continue
THE WINDY weather continues to cause havoc to NorthLink’s ferry timetable.
In the latest update to scheduled passenger sailings issued on Sunday morning, NorthLink said that the northbound Hrossey will now depart Aberdeen at 10pm, arriving at Kirkwall at 4am and finally reaching Lerwick at lunchtime on Monday.
The departure of the southbound sailing has meanwhile been pushed back to between 10pm and midnight, depending on the arrival of the incoming Hjaltland.
The estimated time of arrival of last night’s service is currently 6pm.
