Freight and passenger NorthLink sailings set to face delays

NORTHLINK’S passenger and freight sailings are set to face delays due to weather tonight (Thursday).

Both the Hrossey and Hjaltland will sail at the scheduled times, with Hrossey leaving Aberdeen for Kirkwall and Lerwick at 5pm.

The Hjaltland will sail from Lerwick to Aberdeen at 7pm.

However NorthLink has warned that both face delays of up to one hour in arriving tomorrow (Friday).

The freight boat Helliar will leave Aberdeen at 6pm tonight, but could be up to four hours late arriving into Lerwick tomorrow.

The Hildasay will leave Lerwick early tonight, sailing for Aberdeen at 5pm.
