NORTHLINK has confirmed that its sailings to and from Shetland on Sunday have been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

Today’s (Saturday) southbound sailing will leave Lerwick at the much earlier time of 1pm, arriving in Aberdeen at 7am on Sunday.

The northbound sailing today is scheduled to leave Aberdeen at 5pm as planned but the departure may be delayed.

NorthLink is also tweaking sailings on Monday, adding in a Kirkwall stop on the northbound service. This means the sailing will leave Aberdeen at 5pm instead of the scheduled 7pm.

The southbound sailing on Monday will leave Lerwick at 4pm instead of 5pm.

Finally, NorthLink is also warning passengers that all of Tuesday’s sailings are under review.
