News / Nesting school vandalism
TEACHERS at Nesting Primary School have expressed their disappointment after the school’s play park was vandalised overnight from Sunday to Monday.
Staff found plastic seats thrown on to the roof of the school and parts of the playground area ruined when arriving for work on Monday morning.
Pupils were kept inside as items thrown on the roof were in danger of being blown down by the wind.
A Facebook message read: “Thank you for all the support in helping the bairns this morning. Everyone is very upset.”
Head teacher Kate Coutts said she didn’t want to make any further comment.
Nesting Primary School has regularly received recognition for the environmental work carried out by pupils and teachers.
