News / Strimmer stolen
POLICE are appealing for information about the theft of a petrol strimmer in Lerwick and the vandalism of a vehicle in Scalloway.
The orange Stihl petrol strimmer, along with a blue 45-gallon drum, is said to have been removed from a back garden in the Hill Grind area of Lerwick sometime after 15 May.
Police say a car parked outside Scalloway Motors in the village’s Berry Road was “deliberately scratched” sometime between 6pm on Monday 9 June and midday on Tuesday 10 June.
Anyone with any information on either incident is asked to contact the police by dialling 101.
