Peter Malcolmson apparently now thinks that autonomy is essential for Shetland.

Has Emma changed her position on autonomy?

That is quite a turnaround for a longstanding SNP supporter given their years of centralising powers from our community.

It was John Swinney himself who once threatened to take control of education provision from local councils, which would have been crippling to schools in Shetland.

Perhaps, given Peter’s own record on schools when he was on the SIC, he thinks that would have been a good idea.
