Weather / NorthLink cancels first ferry sailings of 2024
THE NEW Year continues with gale force winds and the inevitable ferry cancellations.
NorthLink has confirmed that tonight’s nort boats are now cancelled.
Wednesday’s sailings are under review with the possibility of a late departure from Aberdeen.
A final decision will be made tomorrow morning.
The freight vessels will commence service on 5 January.
Inter-island ferries are following the festive timetable, but there will be alternations to the Yell Sound sailing due to the wind direction. More details on 01595 743972.
