SUPERDRUG signs have started being put up on the former M&CO building in Lerwick.
The retailer is due to open its Commercial Street store on 24 November.
Living Lerwick said the shop will be open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 12pm to 4pm on Sundays.
TOUR boat company Seabirds and Seals has been been shortlisted as finalists in two categories at the Herald’s Scottish Family Business Awards.
Winners will be announced at an event on 7 December in Glasgow.
AS PART of Scottish Interfaith Week 2023, the local group is offering islanders two opportunities to celebrate.
Shetland Inter Faith is hosting a social event in the Islesburgh Community Centre in Lerwick on Friday (10 November) beginning at 7.30pm, featuring music, poetry, food and fun.
On Tuesday the following week folk are invited to come in St Magnus Church Hall from 5pm to share in prayers from a variety of faith traditions.

VOLUNTARY Action Shetland (VAS) is marking this year’s trustees week, which is taking place between 6 and 10 November.
The week is a chance for people come together to celebrate the achievements of trustees across Scotland and the rest of the UK and the role they have in governing charities.
VAS is hosting a special event for trustees which will look at changes to charity law and the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) Trustees Annual Report (TAR).
It will take place on Thursday (9 November) between 6pm and 8pm at Market House in Lerwick.
