Stranded!
The European Union has confirmed what we all really knew anyway; EU law is superior to any law that a member country might want to pass.
They have spelt out that a country is not independent in the EU.
Where does that leave Scotland, the SNP, the Scottish Greens, the Alba party and any others who want to become independent but also join the EU?
Stranded, I would suggest.
