Letters / Closing the stable door after the horse has bolted
Sometimes you have to wonder how Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP ever got into power.
Her latest announcement is for all people going into shops having to wear a mask as mandatory.
How stupid is that statement? After three months of people being allowed to go shopping without this enforcement she has now decided to throw this at them. Closing the stable door after the horse has bolted comes to mind.
Not only that, but this is only going to start on 10 July. How unbelievable is that? Why can’t she just say from immediate effect and be done with it?
