Maybe Ms Jolly (50 shades of spin, SN, 30 July 2012) should read the community liaison officer’s job description: “Building relationships with the neighbours, community groups and other stakeholders around the Viking energy project.”

He/she is hardly likely to be narcissistically overbearing or overpowering towards you, or for that matter be your whipping boy as you reside in Virkie.
