Austerity has disappeared

Let me summarise…

A new school in Brae… tens of millions.

A new hospital, where else, but in Lerwick… tens of millions.

A new hockey pitch, again where else, but in Lerwick… perhaps one million or two.

Tunnels to our isles, many hundreds of millions, who knows.

Ferry running costs whilst these tunnels are being built… many tens of millions.

It will indeed be a rather large money tree that will be shedding such wholesome fruit. I am truly glad that, at long last, austerity has disappeared.

Councillor for Shetland Central
