When we are thinking about who to back for our next MSP, it is worth thinking about how candidates have shown their values not just in promises for the future, but through their past actions.

It counts for a lot to me that during the COVID pandemic, Emma Macdonald went back into social care work when the community needed everyone to step up and help.

It isn’t an easy or glamorous job, but it was the right thing to do anyway, and Emma did it. That is what really matters. That’s the sort of MSP I would want to see in Shetland.
