Police / Police investigate damage to car and report of stolen vehicle
POLICE say they are investigating reports of damage to a car in Scalloway.
A spokesperson also said a stolen vehicle is believed to have been involved in the incident.
Officers received a report of a vehicle having caused damage to a parked car, on New Road, Scalloway, at around 5.10am on Friday (10 November).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said the driver failed to stop but the vehicle, believed to have been stolen, was later traced elsewhere in Scalloway.
“Enquiries are at an early stage and ongoing,” they said.
