Police investigating report of man being seriously assaulted in Lerwick

POLICE say enquiries are ongoing following reports of a man being seriously assaulted in the Norstane area of Lerwick on Sunday.

The incident is said to have taken place at around 5pm, with the 62-year-old man being taken to hospital for treatment.

A police spokesperson said: “Anyone with information is asked to contact officers via 101, quoting reference 3199 of 25 October.”
