Coronavirus / Eight new cases of Covid

A FURTHER eight cases of Covid have been confirmed in Shetland.

Across Scotland 5,242 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours – a decrease of around 1,500 on the previous day.

But Public Health Scotland said there remains delays in turnaround times for tests, which may be affecting figures.

Nine new Covid deaths have been reported in Scotland.
