AN AC/DC tribute band is set to return to Shetland this Christmas.

AB/CD will perform at Mareel in Lerwick on 27 December – with tickets being sold on the assumption that no physical distancing will be required.

The ticket listing said: “If Scottish government pandemic guidelines have an impact, we will let all ticket holders know and offer refunds if appropriate.”

The band are highly regarded as a tribute to Bon Scott-era AC/DC, and they have regularly performed in Shetland.

It is being described as one final show for AB/CD in Shetland as the band calls it a day. The gig is being promoted by MAC Scotland.

Tickets are on sale now.
