Police / Man charged over ‘threatening language’ in town
Modified exhaust earns 22-year old an anti-social behaviour notice
A TWENTY six year old man has been charged after reports of “threatening language” being used in Lerwick town centre at the weekend.
The police said a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Officers also charged a 22-year-old man at the weekend following complaints about people driving with modified exhausts causing excessive noise.
He was issued with an anti social behaviour notice meaning that if he repeats the offence, then his car will be seized.
